Muhtar Shahanov - Táýelsizdik - tuǵyrym
On December 10, 2024, the Department of Social and Educational Issues, Youth Policy and Youth Organization organized a literary and patriotic evening "Mukhtar Shakhanov - Independence - Foundations" dedicated to Independence Day at Shymkent University. Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, legendary personality Mukhtar Shakhanov was invited to the event.
The meeting was held in the format of a creative poetry evening. The students expressively read the poet's poems and sang songs based on his words. Shakhanov answered the questions of the youth and shared valuable instructions. Veterans of the December events were also present, who shared their memories.
At the end of the evening, Mukhtar Shakhanov visited the university library and blessed the students. Teachers and students performed the song "On the banks of the Arys" together and said goodbye warmly.
This evening became an important event aimed at patriotic education of young people, preservation of historical memory and familiarization with national values.
