THE GRADUATE MODEL OF SHYMKENT UNIVERSITY

 Bachelor's Degree Graduate Model

The development of a graduate's competence model is an unconditional condition for the implementation of the Main Directions of the Bologna process and the requirements of the modern labor market. The graduate's competence model (bachelor's degree) is designed to answer the following question: what professional tasks should a specialist of a certain degree (position), of a particular profile be able to solve. The main issue of the formation of a modern graduate model at Shymkent University that meets the needs of stakeholders and all interested parties will be provided with human, educational, methodological, informational and logistical resources. The University conducts purposeful personnel work, systematic improvement and policy of the material and technical base of the university, ensuring the quality of training of a bachelor graduate in demand in the labor market.

The regulatory framework of the graduate - bachelor model in the university's specialties is based on the following documents:

- The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education";

- State compulsory higher and postgraduate education (Order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education dated July 20, 2022 No. 2) (Hereinafter -SES);

- rules for organizing the educational process on credit technology training in organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education (order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 20, 2011 year No. 152);

- Standard Rules for the activities of higher and (or) postgraduate education organizations (Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2018 No. 595);

- Qualification requirements for education education of organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education and a list of documents confirming compliance with them (Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 17, 2015 No. 391);

- Rules for maintaining the register of educational programs implemented by organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education, as well as the grounds for inclusion in the register of educational programs and exceptions from (Order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 12, 2022 No. 106).

- European Transport System Operation Manual and Credit Unit Configuration (ECTS);

- Standards and guidelines for ensuring high quality education in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).

The graduate model is a graduate's quality system, the nature of his activities.

Graduate Model:

- a set of basic characteristics of a graduate who aspires to be mastered by an applicant;

- Professional, pedagogical and social responsibility;

- Clarity of goals and value orientations;;

- Hard work, self-discipline, speech activity;

- Emotional intelligence and emotional stability;

- Practice-oriented and entrepreneurial skills;

- Respect for historical and cultural heritage, tolerance;

- Deep understanding of the digital environment, skills in creating new content;

- Multilingualism;

- The ability to interact constructively, adapt to global challenges;

- The ability to be a leader, make independent decisions;

- The ability to be creative, creative and creative in social activities;

-Features for continuous professional growth and self-development.

 Graduate Student Model

A graduate who has mastered the master's degree program must have professional competencies corresponding to the types of professional activities that the master's degree program is focused on:

Research activities:

* the possibility of forming diagnostic solutions to professional problems by integrating fundamental branches of science and specialized knowledge acquired during the development of the Master's degree program;

* the ability to independently conduct scientific experiments and research in the professional field, summarize and analyze experimental information, draw conclusions, formulate conclusions and suggestions;

* the ability to create and explore models of the studied objects based on the use of in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of land management, able to realize their professional knowledge, skills and abilities in public and private management, design and research organizations of any form;

Scientific and production activities:

* the ability to independently carry out production and scientific - production field, laboratory and interpretative work in solving practical problems in the field of land management; the ability to professionally use modern field and laboratory equipment and devices in the field of the master's degree program;

* the possibility of using modern methods of processing and interpreting complex information to solve scientific and industrial problems;

Project activities:

* the ability to independently draw up and submit projects of research and scientific production works;

* readiness to design complex scientific research and scientific production works in solving professional tasks;

Organizational and managerial activities:

* willingness to use practical skills in organizing and managing research and scientific production work in solving professional tasks;

* readiness for the practical use of regulatory documents in the planning and organization of scientific and production work.

Scientific and pedagogical activity:

* the ability to conduct seminars, laboratory and practical classes;

* the ability of students in the field of land management to participate in the management of scientific and educational work.

When developing a master's degree program, all general cultural and general professional competencies, as well as professional competencies related to the types of professional activities that the master's program focuses on, are included in the set of necessary results of mastering the master's program.
