Department of Youth Policy

The Department of Youth Policy is a structural subdivision of Shymkent University, which organizes public, social and cultural events and closely cooperates with students. Implements youth policy in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on State Youth Policy, defines the meaning. Social and educational work at the university is carried out directly under the direction of the department.

 Tasks of the Department of Youth Policy

The activity of the Department of Youth Policy, in accordance with its purpose, is aimed at the implementation of the following tasks:

• organization of social protection and support, housing facilities, recreation, physical and mass work with students;
• organization and implementation of educational work, mass cultural and creative activities;
• providing assistance to university students in employment;
• ensuring successful adaptation of first-year students to the conditions of educational activity;
• creation of an optimal cultural environment aimed at the development of moral and spiritual values ​​in the conditions of modern life;
• meeting the needs of students in intellectual, cultural, moral and physical development;

• Functions of the Department of Youth Policy:

• organization of work on creating a holistic concept and system of social and educational work with students;
• development of regulatory documents for the organization and implementation of educational work with students at the university and hostel;
• development of project plans of social and educational work at the university, as well as ensuring their implementation;
• organization of work on providing material assistance to students
