Shymkent University has successfully completed an independent international audit under the QS Stars methodology conducted by the renowned British higher education ranking agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). As a result, the University has been awarded an overall rating of 3 QS Stars. In addition, it achieved the highest possible 5-Star rating in two key categories: Teaching and Good Governance.
QS Stars is a globally recognised rating system that enables higher education institutions to showcase their strengths either independently or alongside their position in the QS World University Rankings. It provides a detailed analysis of institutional performance across areas such as Teaching, Employability, Research, Internationalisation, Facilities, and Inclusiveness. The system offers a comprehensive evaluation and rating from 1 to 5+ Stars, highlighting both areas of excellence and opportunities for further improvement.
