Student Startup Project
On March 12, 2026, Shymkent University hosted an event to present student startup projects as part of a student startup competition organized by the Department of Sciences. The goal of the student startup competition is to spark students' interest in science and assist them in implementing innovative ideas. The event was attended by Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Akmaral Umirbekovna Issayeva, and Director of the Department of Sciences, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Zhanna Baibekovna Akshatayeva, who listened to the student startups and shared their opinions. Ten scientific startup projects from various faculties were presented in various fields. Project Authors:

- "NotBot - a Multifunctional Chatbot for Education and Tourism" - second-year student Aruna Yeral'eva, supervisor S.E. Kerimbaeva;
- Department of Pedagogy:
- "EcoCraftLab — From Household Waste to a World of Delicious Taste" — 3rd-year student Begimbay Korkem, supervisor G.A. Aitkulova;
- Department of Mathematics and Computer Science:
- "FinGuard — Protecting Your Finances and Rights" — 1st-year student Abdikadir Yerasyl, supervisor R.E. Zhumanova;
- Department of Business and Management:
- "FinGuide KZ — An Intelligent Digital Platform for Managing Personal Finances" — 1st-year student Adykadyr Nurbibi, supervisor S.K. Rysbaeva;
- Department of Law and History:
- "Edual Helper — An Intelligent AI Assistant for Helping Students with Homework" — 1st-year student Sapar Madina, supervisor Zh.K. Musabek presented their projects.
At the event, students answered various questions and discussed several proposals. At the end of the meeting, the competition terms were reiterated and the rules for the next stage were announced. The event was engaging, and the students were inspired to further improve their knowledge.
