On April 7, 2026, Dr. Ceyda Zerenay, Deputy Director of the TÖMER Center at Ankara University and an English language instructor at Ankara University, paid a special visit to Shymkent University.
During the visit, a seminar titled “The Emotional Ecosystem of Language Learning” was conducted for groups SHT-125 and SHT-225 of the educational program 6B01704 – “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages.”
The seminar thoroughly addressed the importance of the emotional environment in the language learning process. In particular, it highlighted the role of students’ motivation, psychological well-being, and emotional climate in mastering a foreign language.
During the event, students actively participated, shared their opinions, and asked questions related to the topic. The seminar was informative, insightful, and conducted at a high level.
