The Faculty of Biology of the University of Warsaw, Poland, hosted the 43rd International Conference of the Polish Phycological Society in Warsaw.
The conference brought together researchers from European countries as well as Indonesia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Scientists from Shymkent University actively participated in the event and presented the results of their research.Professor A.U. Isayeva, Doctor of Biological Sciences, delivered a presentation entitled “The Impact of Brown Coal Waste on the Diversity of Algal Flora Species in the Lenger River of Southern Kazakhstan.”PhD, Acting Associate Professor Zhanar Rakhymberdiyeva presented a scientific poster entitled “Green Microalgae as Bioindicators and Bioremediators in Sedimentary Phosphorus-Containing Waters,” highlighting the role of green microalgae in assessing and improving aquatic ecosystems.
