Shymkent University Scientists Participated in a Scientific Seminar in Poland

From May 31 to June 3, 2026, faculty members of Shymkent University participated in the 22nd National Seminar for Students and Doctoral Candidates held at the Faculty of Chemistry of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland.During the seminar, PhD, Acting Associate Professor Zhanar Sherakhmetovna Rakhymberdiyeva presented a report entitled “Biochemical and Molecular Analysis of Endemic Artemisia L. Species from Southern Kazakhstan.” PhD, Acting Associate Professor Bagila Seizbayevna Zhoshybekova delivered a presentation on “Study of the Effect of Deuterium Oxide (D₂O) on 8-Methoxypsoralen-Induced SOS Repair in Escherichia coli Cells.” Master Lecturer Gulzhaina Abdynasyrkyzy Orazymbetova presented her research entitled “The Benefits of Microgreens: The Role of Vitamins and Chemical Compounds.”The main purpose of the visit was to strengthen scientific cooperation with the Department of Environmental Physical Chemistry and the Faculty of Chemistry of Adam Mickiewicz University, as well as to discuss opportunities for implementing joint research projects under the supervision of Professor Dr. Habil. Bogusława Leska.Participation in the international seminar provided valuable opportunities for academic exchange, strengthening international partnerships, and expanding prospects for future collaborative research.
