On December 1, 2025, the Rector of Baku Slavic University (BSU), Anar Nagiev, and the Rector of Shymkent University, Nurlybek Seitkulov, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
The Memorandum provides for the expansion of academic ties between the two universities, student and faculty exchange, organization of joint conferences, as well as the implementation of research projects.
Both rectors emphasized that the agreement will open new opportunities for students and faculty, strengthen international cooperation, improve the quality of educational programs, and contribute to the development of scientific activities.
The signing of the document marks an important step in strengthening bilateral relations and demonstrates the commitment of both parties to active cooperation in higher education and science.
