On December 3, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Institute of History and Ethnology named after A.A. Bakikhanov of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Shymkent University.
The purpose of the Memorandum is to strengthen the research potential of both parties, implement joint scientific projects, expand the exchange of experience in the fields of history and ethnology, and promote academic mobility among faculty members and young researchers.
Within the framework of the agreement, the parties intend to organize joint conferences, seminars, scientific expeditions, publish collaborative research works, and support shared scientific initiatives.
