 Shymkent University Delegation Participates in the 5th International Conference "Bioprocessing and Biomanufacturing ICBB-2025"

On December 2–3, 2025, the 5th International Scientific Conference “Bioprocessing and Biomanufacturing ICBB-2025” was held at Malaysian Putra University in Kuala Lumpur. A delegation from Shymkent University attended the event, including: Professor Akmaral Omirbekovna Isaeva, Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations, Doctor of Sciences Associate Professor Zh.B. Akshatayeva, Director of the Department of Science, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, PhD Ozenbayeva Aigerim Toylybaevna, Leading Researcher Duisebekov Erbol Kubeybekovich and Algaziev Marlene Duisakynovich, Researchers

On the first day of the conference, the delegation visited the Malaysian University of Putra campus to learn about the activities of its faculties and research institutes.

On the second day, Professor Isaeva participated in the opening ceremony and delivered a plenary presentation titled “Use of Microbial Compositions for Processing Phosphorus-Containing Waste in Southern Kazakhstan.” During both plenary and breakout sessions, participants discussed the latest advancements in innovative bioprocesses and biotechnological production. The Shymkent University research team also presented their findings at the ICBB-2025 international platform.

During the conference, a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation was signed between Malaysian Putra University and the Scientific Research Institute of Ecology and Biology of Shymkent University. The memorandum aims to strengthen scientific collaboration, promote joint research, and support the development of initiatives in the field of environmental protection.
