On December 2–3, 2025, the 5th International Conference “Bioprocessing and Biomanufacturing ICBB-2025” was held at Universiti Putra Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Within the framework of this event, researchers from Shymkent University presented their reports based on the project “Legal Support for Ensuring Environmental Safety in the Context of Innovative Modernization of Agricultural Production in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
The conference participants from Shymkent University included:
— Zhanna Baibekovna Akshatayeva, Chief Researcher;
— Aigerim Toilybaevna Ozenbayeva, Leading Researcher;
— Marlen Duysakynovich Algaziyev and Yerbol Kubeybekovich Duissebekov, Junior Researchers.
The researchers presented their findings on digitalization of Kazakhstan’s agricultural sector, integration of innovative technologies into production, environmental risk management, as well as national and international legal mechanisms for ensuring environmental safety in agricultural production. During the conference, participants discussed modern achievements in innovative bioprocessing and biomanufacturing and exchanged views on current issues of agricultural science and environmental law.
The participation of Shymkent University researchers at the international platform ICBB-2025 highlights the scientific potential of the project and demonstrates the international recognition of research efforts in the fields of environmental safety and innovative agricultural development.
