On 17.04.2025, a seminar on the topic «Justification of Tasks Aimed at Improving the Functional Literacy of Students in International PISA Programs» was held by the Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology. The seminar was conducted by Gulmira Dzhumanovna Yesentureyeva, Head of the Department of Digital and Methodological Support for the Educational Process at the U. Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University, Candidate of Science, Department of Biology, Associate Professor. The seminar focused on discussing the 21st-century skills in teaching and learning, as well as the features of the international PISA testing. According to the PISA program, training sessions were organized to determine creativity. The university's teaching staff actively participated. The participants noted that the seminar was useful and informative. This meeting provides a unique opportunity for specialists in special education.
