On September 17, 2024, at Shymkent University, the Youth Resource Center organized a discussion on the issue of holding a referendum on the construction of a Nuclear Power Plant, which was addressed in the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on September 2, 2024. Specialists from the Youth Resource Center noted that this issue has been discussed in society for a year and emphasized that "this time is sufficient for citizens to make a well-considered and thoughtful decision." During the meeting with Shymkent University students, the center's representatives conducted an explanatory session on the importance of the Nuclear Power Plant and exchanged views with the youth.
