Shymkent University, in its efforts to expand international cooperation and enhance the quality of education, has signed an important Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral collaboration with one of the prestigious higher education institutions of the Republic of Türkiye — Ankara University, as well as its Turkish Language Teaching Center “TÖMER”.
The primary goal of this agreement is to develop academic, scientific, and cultural ties between the two institutions, as well as to provide new opportunities for students and faculty members. Within the framework of the cooperation, plans include in-depth Turkish language instruction for students, organization of language immersion programs, promotion of academic mobility, and the implementation of joint research projects and conferences.
In addition, the Memorandum contributes to improving faculty qualifications, facilitating experience exchange, and introducing modern teaching methodologies. Both parties expressed their commitment to working together to elevate educational standards to an international level and to enhance students’ professional and linguistic competencies.
Thus, the partnership between Shymkent University and the TÖMER Center of Ankara University represents a significant step toward providing high-quality education, gaining international experience, and strengthening intercultural connections.
